Youth workshop explores California roots
Twenty students spent an afternoon mapping personal and community histories—then turned those stories into art and a small service project for a local family resource center.
Learning that leads to giving
Our educational programs are designed to do two things at once: deepen cultural understanding and invite young people into charitable action. Participants left with new skills and a clearer sense of how heritage and help belong together.
Teachers and mentors guided discussions on California’s diverse communities, while volunteers helped students assemble care kits to donate.
